Legion Pre & Post Workout Drinks

I don't know if you all have heard of the Legion Pulse & Recharge workout drinks but dang! My hubby and I have been trying these two for the past few months now and I am so impressed!

I know when I start a new product that I'm going to be putting in my body, the first thing I like to do is read the ingredients. I want to know exactly what this stuff has in it! Understandable, right? Our bodies are our temples. We've gotta take care of them!

So first thing's first; I want to go over each of these products with you and share what these babies are made of, what their benefits are and overall, how they make me feel. Let's get started!

Legion PULSE

First, PULSE. This bad boy comes in two flavors: Fruit Punch and Grape. I have tried both and Fruit Punch is my personal favorite but honestly, they're both awesome. A lot of pre-workout drinks that I've tried have a gritty taste to it, almost like a protein powder. However, this PULSE does not! It's smooth, sweet, and really goes down easy. Seriously guys, you've got to try it.

So Christine....Why buy this pre-workout?

Benefits:

  • It contains Theanine. What's Theanine? It's an amino acid that's found primarily in tea but when it's paired with Caffeine (which is in this pre-workout) it is magic! Theanine reduces the effects of mental and physical stress. Theanine improves blood flow, which is great when you're working out. It ALSO helps you focus in on your task and improves your mood. This ingredient is pretty cool, huh?
  • PULSE is naturally sweetened! This baby doesn't have any of that artificial sweetener crap; just Stevia and erythritol, which is great for reducing blood pressure and protecting the kidneys.
  • Carbohydrate powder is usually jam packed into a lot of pre-workout drinks to give you that kick of energy. Basically what you're paying for with other brands is overpriced carbohydrates. Don't get me wrong, carbs are a great way to boost your workout performance but you don't need THAT much of it. PULSE contains less than two grams per serving and still gives you energy!

What did I tell you? Those are just a few of the many benefits that Legion has in their PULSE pre-workout mix. Like I said before, I've been drinking this for the past couple of months and I haven't been disappointed. I don't feel shaky with energy or feel my heart about to beat out of my chest. I drink PULSE about 25-30 minutes before I go workout and the energy I get feels so natural. I seriously love this product and I'm positive you will too!

Legion RECHARGE

Again, this also comes in Fruit Punch or Grape. As you can see, I have it in Fruit Punch. It's personal preference but I seriously encourage you to try both flavors. Why buy this post-workout?

Benefits:

  • Creatine, creatine, creatine! You absolutely must have creatine in a post-workout drink. You can naturally get this in red meats and a few other foods but you can also get it in this post-workout. For those of you who aren't familiar with creatine, it helps you build muscle (ladies, don't freak out. It's lean muscle). It also helps improve strength, endurance, and prevents the body from feeling stiff and sore after a workout.

  • No artificial flavors! Again, just Stevia and erythritol. Also, NO food dyes! That is so rare in post-workout drinks. You'll find that a lot of companies put artificial dyes or azo dyes in their drinks. Legion does not.

I am not kidding; these guys are awesome. Checkout their web-site to learn even more about them at: https://legionathletics.com/.  I've been using them for awhile now and absolutely love this pair together; PULSE and RECHARGE. I am never sore after my workouts and my body feels great. I love the fact that I'm not putting artificial anything into my body and that all of their ingredients are scientifically proven, and their dosage is perfect! Give them a try and tell me what you think (;
